What Leila thought was going to be a birthday getaway weekend, quickly turned into the most memorable weekend trip. Aaron had more planned than just a kid free weekend to relax. The day started by going to Anakeesta in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The line to the lift was horrendously long. 2 & a half hours long to be exact. & those of you that know Leila, know how incredibly impatient she is. That long line was an instant nope. But Aaron wasn’t going to let a line ruin his plans. Aaron got us to the front of the line & on the lift. Up we go to the top of the mountain, to the observation tower that Leila had spent weeks talking about how excited she was to get to the top to see these amazing views! Until she realized the amount of stairs she had to walk up in 90 degree weather. Again, another nope! But Aaron wasn’t going to be stopped. A little pep talk, & we were on our way up what felt like hundreds of stairs. Finally to the top, & Leila was right, the views were amazing. So we had to capture this moment. It’s a good thing Aaron remembered to grab the tripod so we could set it up & capture this memory! As Leila fussed at Aaron to hurry up! So the wind didn’t blow her phone & this tripod off this tower, Aaron patiently set it up, turned to Leila & asked her to marry him. & of course, she said yes! So here we are, & we’re so glad we get to share our love story with you.
