Yosemite National Park
Yosemite is the most incredible place on Earth. Stay a few days before or after the wedding and get yourself into the Valley and experience the wonder of its towering granite walls. Hike the Mist Trail. Look down at the Valley from Glacier Point. Look up at Half Dome from Mirror Pond.
Kirigin Cellars
One of a few local wineries we love. Kirigin has some unique wines and some of the oldest vines in California. Check out the Malvasia Bianca, a white that smells of sweet lycee with a dry finish.
Craft Roots
Craft Roots is our favorite restaurant in Mo Hill. Owner, Jay provides an awesome selection of beers on tap, cocktails and non-alcoholic kombucha drinks. Yes, this is an all vegan menu... that even the hardiest omnivore can appreciate. Get the Cauliflower Buffalo Bites, you will not be disappointed.
Trail Dust BBQ
If slow cooked, smoked all day, meat is what you crave Trail Dust is the place you seek. Aaron recommends the ribs with slaw. Laurel loves the Hog Wash on the pulled pork sandwich. Never been to California? Well then you'll have to get the Tri-Tip, a bottom sirloin cut made regionally famous down in Santa Maria.
Marin Headlands
Start with a stunning view down over the Golden Gate Bridge. Venture into the park for hiking trails up and over the hills and down to the ocean.
Pinnacles National Park
There are not many California Condors left, and the ones that are tend to hide out in the peaks at Pinnacles National Park. Hike all the way up, through small caves and around exposed cliffs.
