It all began at Medina Valley High School, where Aaron first saw me in the hallways and thought I was “pretty.” I knew of him, but we never spoke. Life took us on separate paths after high school—I moved to Japan with my parents, and Aaron joined the Navy. Fate had a funny way of bringing us back together. Aaron’s Navy orders eventually brought him to Japan, and he reached out to let me know he was there. I thought it was cool and suggested we hang out sometime. But for the first year he was stationed in Yokosuka Japan we never actually saw each other. It wasn’t until Aaron’s ship pulled into port for a little bit from Yokosuka to Sasebo, Japan, that we finally spent time together. As we hung out more, we discovered how much we already had in common growing up in the same small town, attending the same high school, and sharing so many experiences. Our friendship quickly blossomed into something more. When I moved from Japan to start college in Hawaii, being apart was tough. Despite Aaron’s Navy deployments and the distance between us, we knew our connection was special. Eventually, we decided to close the gap and we got legally married. Now, we’re so excited to celebrate our love with all of you on March 7, 2026 when we’ll finally have the wedding we’ve been dreaming of. We can’t wait to bring our families together and make this day unforgettable!
