Terracotta orange, forrest green, gold
Semi-formal: tuxes and gowns are welcome, but so are cocktails dresses, fancy jumpsuits, and suits. Be sure to wear shoes that you feel comfortable walking in.
Yes, walking! To reach where the ceremony is held, you will need to walk about a mile through the cavern. Don't worry, a tour guide will lead you and share the history of the cavern along the way. If you feel that you are unable to walk this far, we can assist you!
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!
We will both be Pekala-Ballou (Peh-KAY-luh-Buh-LOO). Both of our families mean so much to us that we couldn't let go of either name, so we just combined!
For cocktail hour, we will have a selection of vegan cheeses and snacks from DC Vegan. We will have Sexi Mexi cater our wedding with a taco bar. Vegan and gluten-free options will be available as well as a selection of Aaron and my favorite hot sauces! Then, we will have cupcakes from Out of the Bubble bakery, all vegan and nut-free with gluten-free options. We understand that a late dinner is not ideal, but we don't have another option considering that cavern tours go until 6pm. Please feel free to eat a light snack/dinner before the wedding. We will have cocktail hour after the ceremony at the reception venue. Additionally, we will have the dancing and other festivities after everyone has eaten dinner.
