Like all great love stories, Kate and Aaron’s started with a little help from a friend. Their mutual friend (Leanna) worked with Aaron and was friends with Kate. Knowing them both, she had a feeling they might be perfect for each other and mentioned to Kate’s mom that Kate just had to meet her kind, handsome and single coworker, Aaron. Leanna said, "He spends a lot of time hunting and golfing, but he will definitely make time for Kate and treat her so well." Upon hearing about Aaron, Kate decided there was no reason to wait. She added Aaron on Snapchat and sent him a message: “I think you were supposed to reach out to me.” About an hour of messaging later, Kate surprised Aaron by FaceTiming him. He answered her surprising Facetime call, had just finished hunting, and used that call to introduce her to his beloved dog, Quinn. Just two weeks into dating Aaron invited Kate to Thanksgiving with his family. Kate would say that was when she knew he was the one. She always wanted to marry a man with a family that made her feel welcome and included. Minutes after meeting Aaron's mom, she proceeded to fall down the stairs, which apparently was also a glimpse into their future, because she’s fallen down their stairs no less than ten more times. Aaron says he knew very early on that Kate was the one, too. Their relationship grew from one very confident Snapchat message into a life they couldn’t imagine without each other. On June 11, Aaron proposed in Turks and Caicos, and Kate obviously said yes. Now they can’t wait to celebrate with all of their favorite people and begin their next chapter together. After their wedding they will make their home in Harrisburg, South Dakota, and in a home with only a few stairs.
