They met at the youth ministry at their church about three years ago. Kaily was new there, and thought to herself, "self, I need to make friends if I am going to try and make this 'Jesus Thing' work." So at the end of the service she got up, looked around, got intimidated by all the large groups, found a small group of three, took a breath, and walked up to them. They were very welcoming and she found out that their names were Alex, Andrew, and Aaron. From that day on, those three became remembered as the triple-A crew. Aaron says that it was at this moment that he fell head over heels for Kaily. Soon after that, there was an after youth group hang out at the local Starbucks, and Kaily, along with another friend named David, gave Aaron the hardest time of his life through exaggerated wordplay that lasted for over an hour. Surprisingly, this only grew the attraction Aaron had for Kaily, and by the end of the second month of knowing her, asked Kaily if she would like to date. Kaily said no. We know, this is very anti-climactic. That being said, this was actually the start of the sweetest part of the relationship. As their personal relationships with God grew, a deep friendship forged between them over the following two years. One which neither Kaily nor Aaron would trade for the world. On January 1st, 2020, when he felt that the time was right, Aaron once again asked Kaily if she would like to date. This time, Kaily said yes. As we all know, the COVID pandemic started soon after this, but that did not stop their love from growing. They cherished each and every day as the love they sowed started to bloom. And on January 16th, 2021, Aaron got down on one knee and asked Kaily if she would marry him. We will let you decide what she said.
