Things to do in the Metro area: -Watersport rentals: available on the beach in back of the Fairmont hotel. -Bacardi Factory or Ron de Barrilito: a fun rainy day activity! We recommend booking in advance if you are interested (they both have great mixology courses) -Old San Juan: walk the cobblestone streets and visit the historic El Morro fort Day Trips Outside of the Metro Area (approx 45 min - 1 1/2 hours away): -El Yunque Rainforest: Hike the beautiful trails and enjoy the waterfalls and rivers. -Cueva Ventana: A cave with an amazing view. If you plan to go, book in advance online. -Toro Verde Adventure Park known for being the home to the longest zipline in America. -Catamaran Day Trip: East Island Adventures is one of many catamaran rental companies, reservations should be booked in advance.
