New Orleans, LA

Jacqualyn & Aaron

Things To Do

We took our first trip together to New Orleans in the summer of 2019. These are some of our favorite spots from that trip:

Paladar 511

511 Marigny Street, New Orleans, LA 70117

This restaurant was amazing! It has delicious Italian food with a southern flair and plenty of wines to choose form. Aaron got some kind of stew meatball that he didn't stop talking about for the whole trip :)

The Joint

701 Mazant Street, New Orleans, LA 70117

Yes we came from Texas and ended up at a BBQ place, but let me tell you the local vibes were strong in this one! It was the perfect lunch spot, and it's conveniently located close to our welcome drinks wine bar incase you want to fill up before you drink up!

Lafitte's Blacksmith Bar

941 Bourbon Street, New Orleans, LA 70116

Let's face it we're all going to end up on Bourbon at some point this weekend, and when you do there isn't a more welcoming and historic spot than this. We loved the relaxed and authentic vibes while we sipped frozen drinks out of souvenir cups, for real it's a cool bar you should stop in at!

Ace Hotel

600 Carondelet Street, New Orleans, LA 70130

Okay so I actually found this one on a work trip a few years back but the chill vibes of their coffee lounge saved me during a stressful day of shilling out marketing advice. They have a cool bar too, check them out and if you stay here I wanna come visit.

Domilie's Po-Boys

5240 Annunciation Street, New Orleans, LA 70115

A little far out from where most of the hip and happening things are going on, this spot feels very neighborhood centric and dishes out a great Po-Boy

Louis Armstrong Park

701 North Rampart Street, New Orleans, LA 70116

Love this park, it's pretty and has a big old light up sign to take photos with.
