With the wedding happening on Sunday, we encourage our guests to come in a day early to enjoy the festivities in Cleveland over Labor Day weekend. Make sure to save time to visit the usual attractions but the Hilton (the location of the wedding and potentially where you will be staying!) is known to have the best vantage point of the Air Show from their famous Bar 32 and within walking distance of a number of other great areas to watch the show -- including 5 minutes from the base airport of the show! They are selling tickets for the watch party from Bar 32, you can purchase tickets here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/air-show-watch-party-at-bar-32-at-the-hilton-cleveland-downtown-tickets-66728812675
Below you will find our recommendations but see CNN's here!
A fun bar and restaurant district on the Cleveland Waterfront. Check out Punch Bowl Social Club and Coastal Taco for fun indoor and outdoor bars. Some of our favorite food: Lago and Collision Bend Brewery (and we have heard great things about Alley Cat for seafood lovers!)
A historic indoor food market that you can't miss while you are here. A short ride from the Hilton, you have to experience this European-like historical Cleveland market. Located in the heart of the Ohio City district, after you are done exploring the market, wander W. 25th St. where some of our favorite bars and restaurants are located, including Great Lakes Brewing Company! For restaurants, we would recommend SoHo for southern comfort food, TownHall for fresh and healthy (but delicious) options and of course, Mitchell's for some of the best ice cream in Cleveland!
