This is a story of ultimate love. Ultimate Frisbee love that is. Aaron- an amateur ultimate player- was an integral member of a NY rec team called Game of Throws (GOT). In fall of 2017, Hannah- a not so amateur ultimate player- was also picked up by GOT. Hannah did her best to bring her Collegiate A-Team level Ultimate Frisbee skills to the Game of Throws with moderate success. What she did succeed in was becoming good friends with the team... especially Aaron. Aaron and Hannah continued to hang out as friends in between Aaron's shifts at American Apparel. It was clear even as friends that they had tons of shared interests. From Patrick Swayze movie nights to skiing, camping trips to game nights- they did it all... platonically. One day, Aaron finally realized what a catch Hannah is and how silly it would be to not ask her out. So one night in February 2018 after going to see Black Panther together, Aaron harnessed the power of Wakanda and, with a belly full of Applebee's pita and cheese dip, he asked Hannah out on a date. For their first date, Aaron took Hannah to a Paint Night and they had a blast- so much so that Hannah even stayed up past 9 PM. The rest is history. While there have been many Paint Night dates since, Aaron's artistic abilities have not improved. Despite this, their paintings are all proudly displayed in the home they now share together in Denver. The same home where Aaron got down on one knee (in his favorite pair of jeans) and asked Hannah to marry him. She obviously said yes and now they can't wait to celebrate their love with all of you!
