I had a crush on Aaron since I first saw him Sophomore year of high school at the Food Lion near my house. Aaron worked in the produce section, and let me tell you I avoided that section at all costs. I thought he was just the cutest thing but knew he was off the market. Fast forward about 4 years and we ran into each other in Boone at a Luke Combs concert and it was just causal conversation. It was a completely out of the blue occurrence because he was still working in Lexington and I was living and going to school in Raleigh. 2 weeks later under horrible circumstances he was now single and slid in my DM's. Now that moment my heart completely stopped, I was on cloud 9 and you can ask Rachel I called her immediately and said "cute Food Lion boy just messaged me, he's single now." We did the long distance while I finished school and then on October 13th, 2023 my dream guy finally asked me the big question. With the help of Charlie and Rachel he planned and executed my dream proposal at the beach at sunset, granted I didn't make that very easy but that will be a story that has to wait for the wedding. Aaron, you make me the luckiest woman in the world and I can't wait to spend forever with you.

I never thought I would meet the girl I would end up marrying while working at a local Food Lion, I always thought it would be a random night out on the town or a girl from my high school. Definitely didn't think it would be a girl from Ledford, but here we are. I started working at the local Food Lion and very quickly started noticing the prettiest girl come in and shop, now I was dating someone so at the time I knew it would never happen. But I would always make sure that she saw me when she came in and I would always be full of butterflies when I saw Hailey. Fast forward 4 years and now I'm headed to see Luke Combs in Boone and run into Hailey and just have some casual conversation, really a lot of catching up and just seeing how life was going. Then the best thing for both of us happens 2 weeks later, I become single and it didn't take long for me to text Hailey and simply ask how she was and then the very next night she came over to my house with Rachel and it all just seemed so right. We start dating and it never feels wrong, every time I'm around her I'm always all smiles and she just lit my world up from being in such a dark place. Hailey had her life centered around God and had so much promising hope for her future and it was everything I ever wanted in a girl. October 13th, 2023 I made the best decision of my life and asked Hailey to marry me and well we wouldn't be here if she would've said no, but it was an obvious no brainer, yes. Honey I can't wait to marry you and spend a life time with you, I love you to the moon and back!
