We became friends at East Carolina University after meeting in 2006. Years after graduating we reconnected in Wilmington, unexpectedly hit it off and have never looked back since! In October of 2017, we ventured to the Big Island of Hawaii for a much overdue family vacation, ready to escape the cool weather and to soak up the legendary sights of the Pacific. After days of exploring everything from the green sand beach to a chocolate farm, it was time to book a guided horseback ride to catch some four-legged views. As a perfect surprise, Aaron popped the question on October 10th at the peak of Waipio Valley, The Valley of The Kings, on the backs of our steeds, Dan and Amber and forever together never looked better. We are so thrilled to have you on board as we make this official!
