It all started in Mrs.Carpenters class, we sat next to each other the majority of the school year. We had quite a few class projects together and the one that truly made us inseparable was the “Macbeth rap” music video (yes you can laugh it’s as silly as it sounds). After the project was completed and graded we kept texting! From that moment forward we knew we were meant for each other.
It was our seventh anniversary and Aaron planned the perfect day with my mom as his accomplice. The first thing I laid my eyes on that morning was a beautiful bouquet of flowers on our dresser. Later I got all dolled up and we headed straight for the farmers market for a nice stroll and breakfast. My uncle was visiting at the time and I was told we would be taking family photos with him and his family that afternoon. Aaron went ahead and picked my second outfit of the day for said “family photos”. Little did I know.. Aaron was prepping me for our engagement! He took me to the place where it all began, Scott springs park, where we filmed our silly school project. He took me down to our picnic spot by the water where we spent our first anniversary and said “well I guess I should tell you the REAL reason we’re here”, as he dug the ring box out of his pocket, and of course my tears just start flowing! All I could hear was a camera clicking, and as I look up all of our loved ones were there with huge grins and tears rolling down their faces. It was quite the surprise and I truly couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful engagement.
