What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive fifteen minutes before the service starts so that it can start promptly at noon.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/ formal.

What are the customs in the Greek church?

Answer

It is customary that the bride's guests sit on the left and the groom's sit on the right. The service is a traditional Greek mass that will last about an hour and is a formal event, please no flash photography.

Where should I park?

Answer

For the ceremony the church has a parking lot. For the reception there is street parking and a parking garage near the venue called Church Street Self Park (525 Church St, Evanston, IL 60201) for $8. If you booked in the hotels we recommended, there is a daily parking rate and the venue is within walking distance.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

There will be approximately a three hour break in between the ceremony and reception to allow time for travel and lunch and for the family to take photos. Please see the travel page for recommendations of what to do in the Evanston area if you are interested.
