We're Getting Married!

We both were new to Grand Rapids and working at Blodgett Hospital. At the end of the nights, we each found ourselves in the same place at the same time. Striking up conversation as if we’ve known each other forever. Through casual jokes and many laughs and staying after work making the conversations last longer and longer. Every small encounter became the highlight of our days and little by little we wanted more time together. Eventually I mustered up to courage to take her out on a proper date and the same night we began dating. That’s how our story began.

As we came back from our vacation in Minnesota at the Hongerholt Hillbilly Hoedown he began acting very strange in the car. We stopped at a gas station in our favorite town in Wisconsin and he suggested we go take some pictures by the water as the sun was setting. I never turn down time to make memories with him. As we parked and got out of the car walking up to the water, he kept acting weird, that’s when I knew something was up, but he was denying the allegations. We then slowly walked down a small trail that led to another opening to Lake Superior and there I looked behind me and saw him down on one knee asking if I would spend forever with him. We are so excited to be planning our big day to share with all our family and friends. We can’t wait to see you all in Saugatuck, MI.
