Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us.

Alisha Killman

Matron of Honor

She's Brie's big sis, and Brie has always looked up to her as an amazingly strong woman and mother. She raised two wonderful daughters - Makenna and Peyton, who Brie adores. Brie and Aaron are so excited to have her back on the West Coast, after living in Virginia for 12 years. She's been so happy that Brie found Aaron, and excited that she finally gets to be an Aunt someday. Lasting Memories: --The 10-day trip to Disney World and Universal Studios, where Brie and Alisha had such a blast being big kids again and enjoying time just the two of them. --Brie's calls to Alisha every morning when her husband, Jack, was out to sea. --Angie's wedding - a short sister's trip with dancing and lots of fun!

Matt McGhee

Best Man

Friends, teammates and fishing buddies for twenty years, Matt and Aaron met in High School. Their passion for sports and the outdoors not only laid the foundation for their friendship in the beginning, but has also kept them close even when living on opposite sides of the Country. Lasting Memories: —The numerous days spent on the American River chasing stripers – specifically the day Matt caught his big fish against the rock wall, and when Aaron caught a striper on a spey rod. —East Coast livin’ – the trips to Baltimore and Boston, where Aaron learned how to pronounce an “O” Baltimore-style, and the three amigos traveled back in time along the Freedom Trail.

Christell Bechtold

Bridesmaid

Christell and Brie have known each other for over 25 years (wow)! Her amazing energy and positive attitude is infectious, and what we love so much about her. She's Brie's Disney BFF and we love spending time with her and Rusty (her hubby) at Disneyland! She has been such a big help during this wedding planning process and we're so happy she is part of our special day! Lasting Memories: --Our many Disneyland adventures together - the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party trip was so much fun! --Brie, Christell, and Rusty's not-yet-finished Star Wars marathon - they took Brie in when she needed it most.

Nick Rojas

Groomsman

Although Nick and Aaron started their relationship as fierce competitors during Kindergarten recess, age and maturity helped turn the competition between two five year-olds into a life-long friendship. Lasting Memories: —The letters, pictures and packages that Nick and Aaron sent back and forth when Aaron was playing baseball at UC Davis and Nick was serving the Country in Iraq and Afghanistan. —Nearly three decades of conversations and unforgettable experiences.

Ashley Georgiou

Bridesmaid

Ash and Brie have been friends since 2007 when they started working together. They have such an amazing bond and helped each other through some challenging times. She is the ultimate believer in love and helped Brie to believe she deserved to find someone as special as Aaron. She very recently became a mom to a beautiful boy, Oliver. It's so amazing to see her getting everything she deserves in life! Lasting Memories: --Our trips to Truckee - our trips to the cabin - how could we forget the banana split social debacle! --Ashley's bachelorette party in Cayucos :-) --The trip to Harry Potter World in the rain where we explored our inner wizards! --The many long phone calls when Ash lived in Southern California.

Sam Chung

Groomsman

Working in the same industry for years and knowing of each other – Sam and Aaron had never really had the opportunity to hang out. That opportunity finally presented itself a few years ago, and since that time it’s been clear – Sam is a brother from another mother. Lasting Memories: —The numerous conversations that have provided certainty in the face of doubt, strength in times of weakness, and direction when one feels lost.

Shannon Spence

Bridesmaid

Brie has known this amazing lady since birth, when their moms worked together for the State - now Brie and Shan are managers for the State and work only a block away from each other. For Brie, it's so special to have her oldest friend in her wedding. She has a beautiful daughter named Isla, who loves Disney as much as Brie does! We're so happy Shannon and Isla are celebrating with us! Lasting Memories: --So many fond memories of jeeping, camping, playing games (Hungry Hungry Hippos) and barbies growing up. And our blankets. --Visiting Shannon when she lived in Seattle. --Visiting Shannon and Matt in the hospital after Isla was born. It's so special to see your oldest friend become a mother.

Jeremy Sykes

Groomsman

Work, mutual friends and hardship brought Aaron and Jeremy together. Kindness, sense of humor and similar interests solidified their friendship. The bond between Aaron and Jeremy is founded upon the fact that no matter what is going on in their lives, they are just a phone call away. Lasting Memories: —All-night baseball trivia where Aaron likes to think that he dominated Jeremy with his unparalleled knowledge of useless baseball facts. —Spending three days driving through the Central Coast, where the landscape, conversation and laughs will never be forgotten. “Tag me bro”

Britney Soderman

Bridesmaid

Brit and Brie have been friends for 8 years! Despite living in different states they've always made it a priority to see each other and be involved in each other's lives. She is the most kind and thoughtful friend. She's also an awesome mom to her two kids, Logan and Kennedy. She recently finished up her schooling to follow her dreams - so inspiring! Thank you so much for being part of all this with us! Lasting Memories: --Our first trip to Virginia City when we saw ghosts and traipsed around the old cemetery. --Dyeing Easter eggs and making gingerbread houses with Sean, Brit and Logan. --When Brit and Logan came to visit Brie in Sacramento when she needed it most.

Eric Arrieta

Groomsman

Even though Aaron and Eric attended the same High School, it wasn’t until their mid-twenties that they truly became friends. Over the last ten years, they have grown together, been there for one another and had some amazing times that will always be remembered. Lasting Memories: —The night that Hunter: Eric’s son, Aaron’s Godson and the ring bearer for the wedding, was born at UC Davis Medical Center. —Game 7 at “The Tank”: the San Jose Sharks vs. the Detroit Red Wings. —A duck season that “officially” started on a check in the middle of the Sutter Bypass.

Erica Chan

Bridesmaid

Erica and Brie became fast friends about 2 years ago - they just clicked right away (thanks Christell for introducing them). Erica and her daughter, Hope, are Brie's Disney buddies and the three of them spent lots of time at Disneyland together. She helped Brie through some really rough times, probably more than she knows. We're so excited to have her and Hopey be part of our wedding! Lasting Memories: --Going with Erica and Hope on Big Thunder Mountain the first time with Hope's brave gem and seeing how much she actually enjoyed it. --So many amazing Disney moments with Erica and Hope, there are too many to list here but they have all been so special and fun! --Our first time on Guardians of the Galaxy!

Michael Francis Craft

Groomsman

For Aaron, the term “best friend” was first realized after meeting Michael Francis. Best friends from the beginning, Mike and Aaron have spent the last 30 years finding opportunities to travel, laugh and live in the moment. Lasting Memories: —The first night Aaron ever spent a night away from his family’s home was at the Craft residence on 39th Street. —The willingness of George, Eloise, Jen, James, Sarah, Liz and Michael Craft to accept Aaron into their family. —The road trip from Sacramento to San Diego that ended with Aaron dropping Mike off for his first year in college at UC San Diego.

Isla Spence and Hope Chan

Flower Girls

These cuties are going to be our flower girls. They both have so much personality and spunk! It should make for a fun and entertaining day with these two.

Hunter Arrieta

Ring Bearer

The son of Eric Arrieta, groomsman for the wedding, and Aaron's Godson, Hunter has spent countless hours with Eric and Aaron over the last seven years of his life. With a kind heart and warm smile, Brie and Aaron couldn't have asked for a better young man to deliver the symbols of their promise to each other.
