We’re getting married!

It all started with a swipe to the right. Yes, thats right people, we met online! I messaged Aaron soon after (nervous as hell) and thought to myself “this guy is not going to respond” but sure enough he did! We began messaging back and forth consistently for a few days. I remember patiently waiting for him to ask me out on a date. FINALLY he asked! We made plans to meet later that week on Sunday. The anticipation was killing me! As the days approached I remember feeling so weak in the knees, sick in my stomach with butterflies and wondering what in the world I was going to wear. We didn’t make it till Sunday for our date. Instead, we met two days prior and have been inseparable ever since. We grew to know one another and learned a lot together as a couple. We became a family over time. The kids grew to learn about Aaron and eventually love him. Fast forward to the present. Aaron and I moved into our own place together with our children. It was something we have talked about for so long but due to Aaron’s job location it was idle for quite some time. I always dreamed about the perfect proposal. Having someone hiding in the bushes to capture my future fiancé getting down on one knee. That’s not what happened though. My future fiancé gathered the kids as I was sitting on the couch unpacking boxes from the move, and looked into my eyes to tell me how much he loved me. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course I said, YES! (This also ended with me tackling him with a huge hug on the couch) It’s something sacred to us as a family that we will always cherish. It was the perfect moment. It was OUR moment.
