While yes, she does love animals (and children), more importantly, Bailey makes everyone feel safe and cared for. Aaron is the most wonderful man in the world. He is brilliant, kind, hilarious, handsome, and always knows the exact way to support those whom he loves and cares for. Aaron is always smiling and laughing making everyone in the room feel like they are the person he has been waiting to talk to the entire night. If you ask Bailey (who is the one typing this!) you will hear about how intelligent he is both mentally and emotionally. She will go on and on about his ingenuity, his ability to always bring comfort and joy, and how he always is ready to grab a Gatorade if he thinks she might be woozy but unwilling to admit it. She will tell you how she liked him when he was open and honest on the first date. How she had to run back into his house on February 6, 2022 to tell him she loved him because she felt if she didn't say it right then she was going to explode. How he looks his most handsome when he is snuggling with the dogs on the couch. He is the best man, going to be the greatest husband, and is very much the perfect person in her eyes. James Burk
Father of the Bride
Jim has been a fantastic father. He has guided his daughter through life's bumpy road all the while role modeling his superb sense of humor (that his daughter has certainly picked up). Jim taught his daughter to take on the world head on with the knowledge that if she ever gets in over her head, he will be there to back her up in a flash. He has done everything from expertly assembling finicky barbie toy sets to building and moving furniture through the many moves. He has shown her to not be afraid of a power tool or a project and that it is alright to cringe, laugh, or even run out of the room when watching movies. He has held her when she has cried and squeezed her while she cheered. Jim is the dad who will always show up for her, always.
Amy Burk
Mother of the Bride
Amy is an outstanding mother. Bailey and Amy are the best of friends, calling each other every day. Amy has shown her light to the world bringing joy and beauty through her smile and her art (although when left to create together, Amy and Bailey need to be able to stop laughing to make something first!). Amy gave her daughter the greatest gift of unconditional love. She taught that "everyone has a story" and Bailey took it to heart making a career out of helping others with their stories. Amy is the loudest cheerleader at swim meets and the best advocate when someone is being treated unfairly, especially her loved ones. Bailey thanks God and the Universe every day that Amy is her mother.
Magdalena Skiles
Mother of the Groom
Magdalena is known for many things. First and foremost is her passion for five men; Jesus, Padre Pio, and the three singers that comprise the Italian operatic trio, Il Volo. Coming in closely behind is her love of her three children. Being her favorite son has taught me a lot about patience and the importance of helping others. She worked many hours to ensure I had the best education and opportunities available. I would not be who I am without her. I love you mom -Aaron
Jacob Burk
Groomsman
Jacob is Bailey's younger brother. He is incredibly smart, funny, and the best cat dad. Jacob currently lives in Portland Oregon because there clearly was not enough rain in Ohio for his liking. Jacob has his Bachelors and Masters degrees from Baldwin Wallace University, is an excellent mixologist and barista as his passion, and will always have the wittiest observations. Jacob is an excellent PC gamer and can tell you all about it because his sister (me) will not do his knowledge justice.
Julie McConnel
Bridesmaid
Julie is Aaron's favorite oldest sister. Her titles include mother of three amazing daughters, wife to Sean and "Yia Yia" to her three special grand babies! A true Toledoan all her life and 30 years working for Toledo Police Department. A few of her hobbies are traveling, reading, learning new things and napping! She's a huge history buff, loves watching movies, spending time with her grandsons and FaceTiming her granddaughter. Some future goals are learning to relax, stop being a workaholic, visit Greece and travel back to Italy! Excited to have Bailey as a sister, someone who has made Roo's life complete with love, laughter and happiness. His smile and eyes tell-it-all, he's found his "forever love".
Tanya Daniels

Tanya is one of Bailey's soon-to-be sisters-in-law. She currently lives in Howland, Ohio, and is completing her 26th year of teaching for Warren City Schools. Tanya's claims to fame are having two beautiful girls 15 months apart, completing the Davis Family YMCA Sprint Triathlon in 2020, and the Cleveland Marathon in 2015. "ME TIME" is a priority in Tanya's life. She enjoys going to kickboxing & resistance training, Purpower Heated Yoga, swimming laps, going on long walks and bike rides, singing in the church choir, and having fun and laughs with friends. As a child, Tanya never stopped singing and dreamt of becoming a Solid Gold Dancer one day! So be prepared to join in and shout out, "Sweet Fancy Moses!" because she is ready to get it started on Sanibel Island!
Macy Hanus

Macy is Bailey's cousin. Macy is an accomplished golfer, a graduate of University Toledo, and an overall awesome human. Macy always brings brightness and joy to any room she enters and is always fast to find the humor in any situation. Whatever you do, do not bet against her on the golf course, or in anything generally. Macy is a driven and capable individual who will never give up and will make any problem into a solution.
Eliska Hrbacova
Bridesmaid
Eliska is Bailey's best friend since fifth grade. They share a birthday, memories, and a sense of humor that helped break language barriers (the sarcasm is that strong!) Their relationship has been tested by time and milage as she is from the Czech Republic. Eliska now travels to many countries for both fun and work. She has completed her degree of Master in Health Economics and has continued to use her mind and kindness to improve the world around her. Eliska met Aaron and spent time with Bailey in 2023 when they visited Prague. Eliska gave her stamp of approval!
Dan McDonald
Best Man
I met Dan after transferring high schools my Junior year. We sat at the same table for lunch due to sharing mutual friends and did not realize we shared the same interests and hobbies until we discovered the truth naturally in the wild. We have spent many nights playing cards and singing the songs of our ancestors. No matter where life has taken us, Dan has always been the same genuine, caring, brilliant, and generous soul, whom I am fortunate to have at my side as my best man.

I met Eric through mutual hobbies and quickly embraced him as a brother. We spent countless hours adventuring to Swanton, Ohio, and the greater Midwest region. We unleashed rage upon the streets (virtually) and shared devastating losses playing Family Feud on Sega Genesis. Eric has always been generous, kind, and thoughtful. I am grateful to have you as a friend and at my side on the big day.
