We're getting married!

They met in May of 2019 through Jessica, Aaron’s sister and Ash’s college best friend. What began as a joke quickly turned into something more when Ash mentioned that Jessica’s brother was cute. Jessica encouraged Aaron to accept Ash’s friend request on Instagram, where he later slid into her DMs. After some texting, they met for the first time at Jessica’s graduation party. Later Aaron asked Ash to dinner and eventually they began spending more time together, truly getting to know one another. Then COVID hit and they learned what it really meant to spend time together—playing countless board games, cooking at home, and going nowhere at all. Somewhere along the way, they realized that if they could enjoy that much time together, they may genuinely like each other. Over the past six years, they've learned how to build a true partnership. Though it hasn’t always been easy, they've learned how to appreciate challenges with patience and understanding. They went on many adventures together, traveling to new places and picking up new interests. Through the ups and downs, they grew closer, taught each other how to love unconditionally, and gained a deeper appreciation for one another. On May 1, 2025, Aaron surprised Ash with a private breakfast in Costa Rica. He told her there was something waiting for her at the bar. Ash eagerly approached the bartender, only to be handed a cocktail menu at 9 a.m. Confused and embarrassed, she returned to Aaron, menu in hand. That’s when he got down on one knee, presenting the ring, and expressed his love when asking her to marry him. Ash froze with excitement. Once Aaron brought her back to reality, she answered with an easy “yes!” They spent the rest of the trip exploring Costa Rica as a newly engaged couple and are now looking forward to their next adventure!
