What time should I arrive?

Answer

Doors will open at 4:30pm and close at 5pm when the ceremony begins, so we highly recommend getting to the venue between 4:30-4:50pm. There will be limited seats for the ceremony, so show up on time if you prefer to sit!

Where will the wedding be located?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at Svetlik Farm in Schulenburg, TX. Address: 2616 FM 2672, Schulenburg, TX 78956

Where can we park?

Answer

There is dirt and gravel parking on the premises, right in front of the venue. The roads do get dark at night though, so we suggest having a designated driver or using an Uber/Lyft to get to and from the venue if you are drinking!

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Spring Cocktail Attire. We want you to look and feel your best while you enjoy a night out! Feel free to dress colorfully; we want our pictures to be vibrant!

What is Spring Cocktail attire?

Answer

Cocktail Hour attire is formal, but without the length or extra material of ballgowns and tuxedos. We have created a helpful infographic to help guide you in deciding what to wear, located in our Facebook event. Don't have Facebook? Reach out to the bride or groom for any missed information!

What are the wedding colors?

Answer

The wedding colors are dark teal and gold. We ask that you reserve dark teal (and any forms of white) for the wedding party.

Dinner will be provided along with light refreshments during cocktail hour, and a dessert table.

Are children allowed to attend?

Answer

We would love for you to enjoy our wedding with you and your partner! Enjoy a date night on us, as those under 21 years of age will not be able to attend unless they are in the immediate family of the bride or groom. Not sure if your child(ren) can come? Your invitation/RSVP should specify those who are invited. You can also reach out to the bride or groom if you are still unsure!

Can I bring a date/friend?

Unfortunately, we have a guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you would like to bring someone, please reach out to the bride or groom to see if we can add them to the guest list!

Can I take my own pictures?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep your cameras to yourself for the ceremony and beginning of the reception. We have invested in a lovely photographer and would hate to see phones in our pictures. Once the dancefloor opens and the party begins, you are more than welcome to snap some pics!

Can I smoke at the venue?

Answer

While cigarettes are not allowed, cigars are! There is a covered smoking area in the courtyard where you can have a celebratory cigar. Please do not smoke cigarettes and do not smoke inside the reception hall.

Do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Yes. RSVP is required to attend our wedding so that we can ensure we have enough food, drinks, and seats. Additional guests or wedding crashers will not be allowed in the venue.

Will there be security?

Answer

Yes, there will be security at the venue throughout the event. While we encourage you to enjoy yourself, we do ask that you drink responsibly and are respectful of the venue and others.
