Believe it or not, our paths crossed a couple of times, but it wasn’t until January of 2022, with help from our friends and some innocent sports betting, that we hit it off. What started with Annissa buying a round of shots after a(nother) classic Cowboys playoff loss led to an eventual first date in Chicago for Saint Patrick's Day and the realization that we had found something special. After a few months of dating between Houston and Austin, Annissa made the move to Houston. While she's grown to appreciate the city in more ways than she'll admit, one of our favorite things to do together is travel to new and beautiful places, including Oregon and the PNW. This past April, on the side of the road in Big Sur, CA, Aaron decided to pop the question. It was the sweetest moment, just the two of us, watching the sunset. We spent the next few days without cell service, fully soaking in the moment until we made it to Carmel and were finally able to share the news with our family and friends. Life together is full of laughter, excitement, traveling, new restaurants, martinis, long walks with our Brylee, and so much more. We are so thankful for each other and can't wait to become husband and wife. We're so excited to have each of you there to share this weekend with us!
