We're getting married!

Allie and her close friends were planning their second annual trip to the sunflower field. Allie's favorite outing of the year! Aaron made plans to surprise her among the towering sunflowers to pop the question. It took some coordination with her friends and precise GPS tracking (thank you for Find My Friends) to find them in the sunflower maze. Once he was able to track her down, she was quite surprised and questioned what the heck he was even doing there (he was suppose to be golfing). Allie's questions quickly gave way to shock when Aaron dropped to one knee and pulled a box out of his pocket, held it up for her, and asked the big question. She did not know what was going on, potentially distracted by the inside of the box that was sparkling and shined bright in the August sun. Once she finally realized what was going on...she said yes! Allie and Aaron then enjoyed a short picnic at the sunflower farm with their close friends and took lots of fun photos to remember the occasion. Thank goodness for having such great friends (who happen to be professional photographers)! After leaving the sunflower farm, the surprises continued as they arrived at Aaron's parents house to share the big news. Unbeknownst to Allie, both of their families were already gathered there to surprise her again for an engagement brunch where they all were able to celebrate the day together.
