When and where should I book accommodations?
Answer
Please book accommodations *as soon as possible*. Cooperstown is very busy in August with the largest Little League tournament in the country. The block is no longer available with The Otesaga. Whether booking at The Otesaga, another hotel, or other rental, we recommend you book as soon as you can.

Where should I fly into to get to Cooperstown?
Answer
Albany International Airport is a 90 minute drive. Syracuse Airport is a 75 minute drive.

Are there other accommodations available?
Answer
Yes, there are several large and small hotels/bed and breakfasts within a few minutes drive of The Otesaga. We were unable to obtain other blocks due to events in the area happening the same weekend. Please book as soon as you are able to ensure a stay in Cooperstown, if desired.

What is the attire?
Answer
Attire is cocktail. We expect it to be hot, so please dress comfortably.

Will we be outdoors?
Answer
Yes, the ceremony is expected to be outdoors, provided we have good weather. It will take place in the grass a short, flat walk behind the hotel. Please consider your shoe choice to accommodate walking on the lawn.

Is The Otesaga accessible?
Answer
Yes, The Otesaga Hotel has ramps and elevators to reach all areas. There will be a short, flat walk on the lawn to and from the ceremony space, and otherwise we expect to be indoors.

What happens if there is inclement weather?
Answer
If the weather is inclement, there is a secondary ceremony location available inside The Otesaga.

What happens if it is very hot?

We have the option to be indoors in air conditioning throughout the event. Water will be provided throughout.

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Aaron and Alaina are aware and have taken care of the needs. If you are unsure or anything has changed, please reach out.

Will there be drinks served?

Is rideshare available?
Answer
There may be some limited and expensive availability of Uber and Lyft. It is not recommended as a primary means of travel in the area.

Do I need to choose a dinner option when I RSVP?
Answer
No, we will have a buffet-style dinner. We have taken into consideration allergens and dietary preferences, but please reach out to Aaron and Alaina if you have any concerns.
