FAQs

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to venue limitations, we are unable to accommodate any extra guests unless specified on your invite.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Even if you live in Omaha, we recommend taking advantage of our room block at Hampton Inn & Suites. There are so many perks: it’s just one block from our venue, surprisingly affordable for being in the heart of downtown, and they’ve offered our guests free parking and a 24/7 shuttle service.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Beach formal / semi-casual. It's August in Nebraska. It's probably going to be scorching hot and our reception is outdoors (covered rooftop). We want you to be comfortable. If you'd like, put on that Hawaiian shirt or a flowy beach dress and let's pretend we're somewhere tropical.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

No, we've had many years to fill our home with all we need and can fit in the cupboards and closets. If you’re wondering what to get us, we would greatly appreciate money to help us fulfill some of our dreams for the future.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We'd suggest making use of Hampton Inn's free parking for hotel guests, otherwise Blatt offers guest parking in the parking lot west of their building. You can also use the Chi Health Center's Lot B parking lot, which is directly east of Blatt. Both lots are free on non-event days. There is also ample street parking along Mike Fahey Dr. and 12th Street

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the reception?

Answer

Hampton Inn offers a free 24/7 shuttle service, otherwise it's only a block walk to and from the hotel to the reception.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We'll have a variety of hors d'oeuvres, but should you want something else, there's a full restaurant located directly below. Go downstairs, have a meal, and come back up to the party!

Question

Is the Rooftop accessible for physically-disabled guests?

Answer

The entire facility is ADA compliant, including the Rooftop Beer Garden. They have an elevator that can take guests to and from the ground floor.
