If you are a little late, please just let the guard know your names and that you are there for the Lamb/Harrison wedding, or show your invitation ! We recommend you arrive at the Resort by 3:30-3:45pm.
Children are welcome by arrangement. Please let us know if you will be bringing your child/children so that we can get an accurate headcount and make arrangements with the venue! If you would prefer, most hotels will offer baby-sitting services for a small fee!
Unless you’ve told us it’s not necessary, your invitation should have a plus 1 option for your partner/SO/husband/wife/etc. Please remember to RSVP for them so we have an accurate headcount!
Your presence is more than enough, but if you’d like to give us a gift, we are registered on Amazon DE. This is the link! The dress code is semi- formal. Gowns and tuxes are welcome, so are suits, cocktail dresses and traditional wear. Part of the event ( barring inclement weather) will be on grass, so we recommend appropriate shoes. It can also get chilly in the hills after dusk, so do bring a shawl or light sweater.

Light, breathable & quick drying clothing is best! Sabah is in the tropics, so it's hot & humid! Day time tempreatures are normally around 30c and nights are a little bit cooler, usually around 26c. Please remember that Malaysia is a muslim country and that local people tend to the more conservative side. Shorts and t-shirts or tank tops are fine for walking around town in, but crop tops, swimsuits and micro-minis should be reserved for the pool or beach! Men are also encouraged to put on a shirt when away from the pool or beach. We reccomend that you pack flip flops for the pool &beach as well as some comfortable shoes or sandals for walking around in. Please note that if you plan on jungle trekking or climbing the mountain you will need hiking or sports shoes with good grip. Trainers are fine for this. For jungle trekking and Safaris you will want to bring mosquito repellent, long socks, a long sleeve shirt and some long pants. If you decide to climb the mountain please pack some warm gear as well, as it can drop below freezing on the summit. A hat, gloves and a water & windproof jacket are musts. We recommend you pack a light raincoat if you have one, or a small umbrella, as well as plenty of sunscreen! Don't forget your wedding outfit!
We'd always suggest that you take out travel insurance before a big trip. Private medical care in Malaysia is excellent and relativly inexpensive, however, should the worst happen you will want to be protected! If you do get sick on your trip or want to see a doctor , we reccomend either Jesselton Medical Center or Gleneagles Medical Center, both of which are private. Goverment hospitals are unfortunately usually overcrowded and understaffed. If you need an ambulance: DO NOT dial 999 and wait for a goverment ambulance, they frequently take up to 30-45 mins to come. Instead call either the Jesselton Medical Center Ambulance At +6088 366399 or Gleneagles Ambulance at +6088518911
Please check your local government as well as Malaysian government travel recommendations for the most up to date info on vaccinations. There is no need to take Malarial medication-just take sensible precautions while around mosquitos such as wearing long sleeves and applying repellent.
While the water supply for KK is treated and technically safe, it can often give visitiors tummy upsets, so we'd reccomend that you drink bottled mineral water or boiled/ filtered water. Water served in most cafes and resteraunts will be absoloutely fine, and so is the ice. Tap water is also perfectly safe for bathing and brushing teeth.
