We’re getting married!

We decided to take a trip to California for our anniversary to see the redwood forest. We drove through the redwoods for hours. Our last stop was the founders tree grove. This was my favorite spot so far on the trip. We walked around in awe of all the giant trees. They were much taller than I had even imagined. Nearing the end of the trail, Greg said, “Can I ask you a question?” I immediately roll my eyes as usual when he asks this question. Greg said, “It’s a serious question.” Then, he asked me if I would marry him. I think we all know the answer... YEP! Afterward, we drove down highway 1 along the coast toward San Francisco. We had to stop for a moment to soak in the day and watch the ocean waves crash into the rocks below our feet. It really was such a dream-like day.

Greg and Aaron met at Park & Co. from a dating app in the summer of 2015. They had been communicating for a few weeks before meeting for a late lunch. The conversation seemed to flow naturally and mutually decided to grab a coffee for a walk through the neighborhood. The first date ended with a kiss and someone yelling “GET A ROOM!” from their truck. 5 minutes later, Greg text Aaron for a second date for coffee, and the rest is history!
