Sonoma Square is the heart of the city of Sonoma. There are many restaurants, shops and wine tasting rooms all centered around the green. You can easily spend half a day exploring all that Sonoma Square has to offer.
The Girl And The Fig
Easily the most popular restaurant in the city of Sonoma, The Girl and the Fig is a great stop for any meal of the day. We recommend making a reservation, but even if you don't have one it's definitely worth the wait.
El Molino Central
Fantastic, James Beard-nominated Mexican food served in an unpretentious, casual setting. Coming to Sonoma without grabbing a meal here would be a major miss. If we could have had a wedding event here - we would have for sure.
Scandia Bakery
The best bakery for satisfying your sweet tooth. They are well known for their princess cake but all of their treats are delicious.
WALT Wines
WALT is our favorite wine tasting room in Sonoma! We are members at WALT's sister winery, HALL, and always stop in when we are in the area. Their Pinot Noirs are among the best you will taste. Reservations are recommended.
Domaine Carneros
Domaine Carneros is a must-stop for any one who enjoys sparkling wines. The grounds are gorgeous, the wines are refreshing, and the experience is unique. Reservations are recommended.
St Francis Winery & Vineyards
A beautiful, classic Sonoma winery with some of the most picturesque vineyards around. This tasting room is extremely friendly and great for first time visitors to Wine Country. As a bonus, St. Francis is also near many other notable, well-regarded wineries.
