Our story is quite simple. We matched with each other on an online dating app, Bumble, and our first date was at Buffalo Wild Wings (of course, sports!) We spoke further after the first date which lead to Aarika attending basketball games to support Alex. Aarika tells her mom EVERYTHING, so she had to let Mom know about this handsome dude who played basketball. Alex and Aarika spent many days together playing video games and card games, building Legos, and eating ramen. Our love for each grew stronger which lead to Alex staying in Indiana rather than moving back to Ohio and us moving in with each other. Alex had no problem with moving into a house with three dogs. Our personalities are opposite as you have Alex who is reserved and Aarika who is an open book, it has made us have a relaxing, genuine, and loving relationship. Anyways, the proposal, which was also simple. It was at home, Alex told Aarika that he had a late birthday gift for her. Aarika questioned him as she didn’t except anything since they went out with her friends & family. Aarika pulled out the tissue paper from the bag and saw Funko Pops that had Alex Cole and Aarika Cole on them dressed in wedding attire and an engagement ring. Aarika, crazy as she is, didn’t believe it. Alex pulled a beautiful ring out of his hoodie pocket and asked. Aarika excitedly said “Yes!” We thank you everyone who has continued to provide support, love, and guidance throughout our relationship. We cannot wait to see you at the wedding! Alex & Aarika
