Our Love Story

I never thought I’d find my person on a dating app, but that’s exactly how it happened. We met on Bumble, and never in my life did I imagine I’d meet my soulmate there and just like that, our love story began. Our first date kicked off so beautifully, so effortlessly, that I never wanted it to end. We laughed, we talked, and somewhere in that night, I just knew he was my person. I wanted to see where this could go, so I asked him out that very night. The only downside was we lived 100 miles apart. But we chose to make it work. We embraced the long-distance, traveling back and forth every weekend just to be together. Every drive, every late-night goodbye, every shared moment made the bond between us even stronger. And then, two weeks later, he proposed. It may have seemed out of the ordinary to the world, but to us, it felt like fate unfolding exactly as it should. It sounds unbelievable but it felt so right. He saw the same spark I had seen on our first date, that undeniable connection that told us this wasn’t fleeting. He wanted to make sure he had me not just for a moment, but for the long haul. We didn’t rush to tell the world. We kept our love quiet at first—not out of fear, but out of respect for what we had. Something this rare deserved time and space to grow without pressure, without opinions, without expectations. Instead of rushing into a wedding, we chose something deeper. We chose to truly know each other. To learn how we communicate, how we love, how we face challenges together. We built something steady beneath the spark, something real. Because we didn’t just want a beautiful story. We wanted a lasting one. And now, two later, we’re getting married. Not because it happened fast—but because we made sure it would last.
