This time of year, this area usually has highs in the upper 70s and lows in the low-50s. Plan to bring an extra layer just in case it cools off in the evening.
You are invited to come as you are- wear something that makes you feel festive & comfortable for an outdoor wedding! We do recommend bringing an extra layer for the evening. Ladies, keep in mind that heels + soft ground don't always mix.
We have limited parking, so please carpool if possible! There is overflow parking available at the office of Busey Robert T DDS, 12 Old Fort Rd, Fairview, NC 28730, which is at the base of the road leading to Pine Hollow's neighborhood.
Rather than a traditional ceremony/reception, we will have a short ceremony (some seats, mostly standing), followed by a party. As long as the weather cooperates, everything will be outdoors with access to Pine Hollow Lodge. There will be food and drinks aplenty, as well as music, games and dancing! In the event of rain, we will have an outdoor tent.
Please try to RSVP by April 1st at the latest. That will help us get an accurate guest count for food and drinks!
This is a VERY small wedding, so please ask just ask before bringing anyone extra. We want everyone to have a good time, but have opted to keep this small. :)
Yes! Plenty of parking- our family is renting the two nearby cabins.
There are cab companies and Uber available in the area. Please plan ahead and don't drink and drive!
Yes! We created a registration using the link in the navigation via Zola.
In case you hadn't noticed, this is informal! That said, Kevin's Charleston chef friends have been kind enough to offer delicious catering. We will have vegetarian, chicken and fish options, along with snacks and sides. This is self-serve, grab and stroll- we will have some seating/tables and cocktail tables available. As for drinks, we'll have wine, beer, liquor & water, all of which is self-serve.
