For our out-of-town guests here is a list of available hotels, and Bed & Breakfasts in the surrounding area. In case the hotel rooms are not available or you just can't afford them, boarding with local family and friends can potentially be arranged. Most of the Bed & Breakfasts are locally owned and are renovated historical buildings rich in local history. Downtown Lynchburg is filled with fun shops and restaurants, along with the Jack Daniel's distillery which provides tours and is filled with local history, Plenty of things to keep you entertained. Tullahoma, about 30 min from Lynchburg, is a fast-growing city. Aside from having big-box stores like Walmart, Lowes, and newly added Marshals, Tullahoma is filled with locally-owned shops, bars, and antique shops. There are plenty of places for a shopping spree or a lunch break.

Originally the fine estate John Lafayette Tolley and his wife, Lillie, the daughter of Felix Waggoner Motlow (The family who Motlow College is named after). Here, John and Lillie grew their family and gave birth to Lem Tolly, great nephew to Jack Daniel and who later became Jack Daniels's third master distiller. The house has been passed from generation to generation for many years. Now renovated into a bed and breakfast the Tolly House is most likely surrounded by neighbors who are related to the Tolly family in some way or another.

This historical house was built in 1840 by Revolutionary war veteran, Aaron Gage. During the Civil War, the home served several functions. It was the headquarters for both the Union and Confederate armies. It was used as a hospital and was a place of refuge for soldiers evading the Union Army. Throughout the years, the property has served as an apple orchard, a tobacco farm, a dairy farm, a cattle farm, and now a beautiful Bed and Breakfast.
