In order to make sure that our wedding is as safe as possible for ALL guests, we ask that guests are vaccinated for COVID-19. If you are not vaccinated, please wear a mask when attending and consider if it is worth the risk to attend at all. If you are unable to be vaccinated and have concerns, please reach out to us. If you would prefer to be on the safer side, we can work on putting you at a special table near the open-air, or another measure you'd prefer - please reach out to us.
No. Unless your cute little gremlin is younger than 3 years old. No children under 18 otherwise, thank you! Please reach out to us if need to chat further.
Only if you stay at the campsite. Pets are welcome and permitted only within the Campsite of Metis Crossing
The dress code is rural Alberta high-fashion so feel free to get flashy, but make sure you can chill all night comfortably. We are getting married along the North Saskatchewan river, in a modern facility. Most areas in the venue are unpaved, but the building is completely accessible. Avoid dainty shoes. Late summer weather in Alberta can be unpredictable - bring a jacket or sweater.
We would recommend staying on site for Saturday for sure. Feel free to come by early and stay Friday. This venue has it all. Campsites for tent/RV, trapper cabins, and a brand-spanking new hotel. Campsites are in the $20-$50 range, and hotel rooms are about $200 with the discounted wedding rate. Check out the associated websites for how to book at the venue.
Drinks are supplied and served by the Metis Crossing. For our guests, the drinks will be $3 each! Alanna and I will be covering the rest of the cost. Feel free to bring a self serving of whatever you like, and keep it in your hotel room or at the campsite nearby!
