See the beach where Brett proposed to Anna! On your way, check out the historic town of Ferndale, a quaint town featured in several films and containing adorable shops.
A cheese factory, shop, and grilled cheese bar near our reception venue. Try from a wealth of cheese samples and enjoy a savory or sweet grilled cheese sandwich. P.S. we highly recommend the roasted garlic cheese
You may have tried a beer from Lost Coast Brewery without realizing that this unconventional, award-winning brewery is located in Eureka, CA. While you're in Old Town Eureka, stroll around the cute stores and check out Livin' the Dream Ice Creamery, The ice cream is so good, it simplified Anna's decision to move to Humboldt.
This cafe not only has good drinks, it has rentable hot tubs! Call a day in advance to make your reservation. While you're in Arcata (Humbodlt's University town) check out the Saturday morning farmer's markets and take a walk through the Arcata Community Forest, Anna's favorite place to go on runs!
All of Humboldt's forests are breathtaking but if you're here for several days, you may want to travel up to Fern Canyon. It may in fact look familiar to you if you've ever seen Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park.
Check out a beautiful swimming hole close to the ceremony site just 12 miles east of HWY 101 on HWY 36. This is one of the first places Brett took Anna to when she visited and somewhere he frequented as a kid.
