We met at work through a mutual friend and coworker. After a few months, we naturally started spending more time together and found ourselves together almost every weekend. Neither of us acknowledging how close we had become. Life didn't slow down and we quickly learned that we were better navigating it side by side. Through a global pandemic, buying a house, and the ups downs of life we both knew there would be one constant, each other. After 6 years of finding joy in everyday life Aamir proposed in the kitchen, the heartbeat of the house we had made into a home. We spent the day together canning the tomatoes we grew, then shared a nice dinner. A day filled with our favorite things became the day we decided to spend a lifetime having days just like that.
