We met casually in the rec room of COM (college of the mainland) Aaliyah was playing pool and Micah was playing madden, She thought he was cute as a passing thought and he thought woah who's that beautiful woman. Funny enough he said his thought out loud, our mutual friend Allen heard him and said "Oh Aaliyah? Let me go say whats up for you." He begged him not to and said he would eventually get around to doing it himself well lets just say Aaliyah already heard some not so nice things said about his character to her before having met him and felt that he was someone she would have to keep her guard up around. The day they formally met she didn't have a good first impression of him, it was on the football field and if you know Micah on a football field then well.. you know. Aaliyah added him on snapchat she thought why not he's a part of the same friend group as her, and they started texting from there. She thought he was messing with her and that he was a player but he was dead set on wanting to take her on a date because the reality of it he was everything Aaliyah dreamed of she just didn't know it yet. He finally was able to get a date with her, they both snuck out of their parents house to see each other, he picked her up and brought her a plate of barbeque, as they talked more and more she realized he wasn't the guy she thought he was and she formally apologized to his face. in the middle of Houston prettiest night lights she told him how she actually saw his true character and how she was developing feelings for him, he thanked her and told her that from the moment he saw her he wanted a chance with her, and opened up quickly and was gentle and a good listener, from that day forward they fell deeper and deeper in love.
