We first met at a college friend's birthday party our junior year at Mississippi State. We didn't know each other, but our friends did. They had schemed behind our backs to set us up together. We both were not looking for a relationship at the time, so we resisted at first. They believed that we were perfect together, and of course with us both being so stubborn, we had to prove them wrong. Our friends were PERSISTENT. So much so that they locked us in the living room alone together to force us to talk and hang out. After talking in the living room for what seemed like hours, we snuck out of the party and hid in the apartment clubhouse, pranking our friends that we had left together. Eventually, we exchanged numbers, began texting and hanging out, and the rest is history.
