We’re getting married!

Aaisha and Tyshon met by chance & was introduced by Aaisha’s sister in early May 2014. Their first interaction was a phone conversation that lasted the entire day. They asked each other very detailed questions and they learned quickly how they shared similar interests, life goals, chemistry, they’re values were aligned and they enjoyed the fact that their sense of humor could keep the conversation interesting. It was kind of special getting to know someone so easily without meeting in person. “Right before midnight, we thought we should meet in person”. Shortly after Memorial Day Weekend on May 31st 2014, they made it official and have been together ever since! Their 1st date was at Aaisha’s favorite Diner! Tyshon lived just 3 minutes away most of his life and had never been, which was very surprising to Aaisha because Tops Diner is so popular. Tyshon always preferred home cooked meals so it was not a coincidence for him to end up with a Chef as his life long partner and companion. Aaisha and Tyshon are true foodies and they love to explore different meals in their kitchen and at a variety of restaurants. Aaisha was a single mother when they met. Tyshon was the biggest blessing and gift to Aaisha and Zahaar. After being introduced to Zahaar, she started to bond with him instantly & because of that Aaisha felt safe to grow their family and along came Tamani & Akbar. 8 years of memories later, Tyshon took his time planning what would be one of the best days they had the opportunity to share together thus far. He had her best friends and some of their closest family members in on his beautiful plan. Two of Aaisha’s Aunts and Grandmother traveled all the way from Virginia to witness their engagement! He proposed in a private room beautifully decorated at a restaurant that sat on the water with charming views of NYC’s skyline. When Tyshon kneeled on one knee, Aaisha said YES before he can ask! We are so excited to celebrate our love with you !
