We first met when we were three years old at preschool. Was it love at first site across the sand table? Probably not. Was it destiny? Possible. Fast forward to our senior year in high school. Anthony is playing on the Grinnell Tigers varsity football team. Anthony asks Anna to be his "jersey girl." We have our first official date September 11, 2014. Our story has begun! Homecoming, winter whirl, prom, and graduation. The next thing we know, we are off to Iowa State University. Four year later, we are graduating again but now our story's path takes some twists and turns. Anna's path takes her to Kansas City to work on her Master's in Occupational Therapy. Anthony's path takes him to Nashville, TN to start his career at Citi Bank. It's a long distance love story for the next couple of years; lots of phone calls, texts, and miles burned between Kansas City and Nashville. Eventually, Anthony finds his way to Kansas City working remotely while Anna finishes her degree. Oops! How could we forget!! Louie, our sweet, neurotic, wavy hair bernedoodle joins our family. Boxes are packed and loaded. With resumes and diplomas in hand, next stop on our journey... Denver, CO. We have been here almost four years- different locations in and out of the city, and different jobs, but always together. As you join us on our wedding day, whether in person or in spirit, we will have been together for 11 years almost to the day! We know our story has only just begun. We can't wait to celebrate the start of this new chapter together surrounded by our family and friends.
