Tanglewood
Want to relax for a show at a world-renowned concert venue? We have one right here in town! If sitting on the lawn, you can bring as much food and drink (even beer and wine!) as you like as you relax and take in the sounds of summer. On June 20th, the special performance will be Top Gun: Maverick in concert!
Norman Rockwell Museum
The Norman Rockwell Museum illuminates the power of American illustration art to reflect and shape society, and advances the enduring values of kindness, respect, and social equity portrayed by Norman Rockwell. Norman Rockwell’s hometown plays host to a museum dedicated to his career’s work, which includes every iteration of his contributions to The Saturday Evening Post.
Balderdash Cellars
Enjoy a glass of wine, a chat, a view, a board game, and possibly even some food from a food truck! We enjoy getting the flight of wines and working our way towards the dessert wines they have available.
Pontoosuc Lake
Pontoosuc Lake is a 511 acre great pond located north of the center of Pittsfield at the corner of North St. and Handcock Rd. Enjoy a relaxing meal with views of Mount Greylock at Proprietor’s Lodge, or rent a pontoon boat using the link below and enjoy the water!
Lenox
A classic New England town that has become a favorite with a few celebrities who are looking for a slower pace of life than the hustle and bustle of the city. Need a coffee? Shots Cafe. Need a bigger brunch? Haven. After breakfast, stop by The Bookstore and peruse their book selection.
Mount Greylock
Ready for a big-time hike? Mount Greylock is the highest point in Massachusetts at 3,489 feet. From its peak on a clear day, you can see as far as 90 miles away. No matter when you visit, there's plenty to do and see.
Naumkeag
Naumkeag is a public garden and historic home in the heart of the Berkshires, Massachusetts. Experience Gilded Age style and splendor at this marvelous estate renowned for its elegant gardens and architectural mastery. Tickets are required.
Hancock Shaker Village
A living history museum in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts, Hancock Shaker Village brings the Shaker story to life and preserves it for future generations.
Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort
Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort is the largest ski and snowboard resort in southern New England, located in Hancock, MA. In the summer, it turns into an adventure park, complete with a ropes course. The ski lift is in operation allowing guests to get a free ride to the top to enjoy spectacular views of the Berkshires.
Roasted Garlic
Our favorite restaurant in the area! Their wood-fired pizza is their calling card, but their full menu keeps us coming back time and time again. If the weather is nice, their outdoor seating is great to pair with a cold drink.
Proprietor's Lodge
Another wonderful outdoor restaurant with a wide-ranging menu right on Pontoosuc Lake. Enjoy a view of Mount Greylock as you take in the fresh air, as seen in the picture above that we snapped from our table on the patio.
Mazzeo's Ristorante
Upscale Italian Restaurant close to the hotel that will satisfy your cravings and when you're done with your entree, order a chocolate piano for dessert!
Shire Breu-Hous
Indulgence time. Their pretzels are enormous (as pictured), their food and beer is good, and they often have live music!
Antimony Brewing
Located close to the hotel and big enough to hold a crowd, Antimony is a great spot to grab a bite and a drink (and then head across the lot to Chocolate Springs Cafe to eat delicious chocolate for dessert).
Misty Moonlight Diner (and other breakfast options)
