We met in January 2021 "in the Bumble streets" as Jharen likes to say. After a few messages about bold Super Bowl predictions and all things Dallas, Alex gave Jharen her number and the rest was history. Our first date was a few days later at the Dallas Museum of Art, followed up by Mexican food and a long stroll in Klyde Warren Park. The spark and connection were undeniable, and neither of us really knew what the future would hold, but we knew we wanted to be together from that day moving forward. Jharen made the relationship official a few weeks later at a game night over Uno and margaritas at Alex's apartment. Over the last 4 years, we have made so many unforgettable memories together, meeting each other's friends and family near & far, trips back to Alex's home state Michigan, the 2023 Texas Rangers World Series run, and exploring new countries. From raising our puppy dog Maverick to purchasing our first home together, we have built an incredible life. Jharen proposed on June 21, 2024 in Cabo San Lucas, our favorite vacation spot (and the place we first said "I love you"), in a beautiful setting overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
