FAQs

Question

How and when should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, please click the RSVP tab on our website and type in your name. All guests included in your party will appear here to mark "attending" or "declining". Please RSVP by July 5th. This is important because we have to send a final headcount to the vendors by this deadline.

Question

Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately there is a limit on the guests that we can invite and cannot accommodate a plus one for everyone. If you are a case where we have allowed you to bring a plus one, we have listed his/her name or "Guest" on your RSVP.

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed. As we prepare for the wedding we kindly request that you let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to attend by using the RSVP section and responding that you cannot attend. We understand that unexpected events can happen, but by letting us know in advance, we can make the necessary adjustments. If you have already RSVP'd attending, but find that you will not be able to make it, please edit your RSVP or notify us. For those who are unable to attend in person due to limitations there will be a Zoom link. However, if this is the case please mark not attending on your RSVP. A Zoom link will be provided at a later date.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The time for the ceremony is listed on your formal invitation and we ask that you be in the building NO LATER THAN 15 minutes before the ceremony starts. This ensures that guests will have some time to mingle and get seated. Please keep in mind traffic potentially will increase your travel time so please plan accordingly. The venue does include valet parking at no charge! If you arrive after the ceremony has begun there is a chance you will not be able to be seated and will have to wait until cocktail hour to enter!

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be held indoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held indoors. The cocktail hour space is located outdoors.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is formal attire. Please keep in mind that there is no casual attire such as jeans, t-shirts or sneakers.

Question

Are there any colors I should avoid?

Answer

We kindly ask for your cooperation in avoiding dresses that are solid White, Ivory, or Cream, colors traditionally reserved for the Bride. Dresses with small accents or patterns in these colors are fine, as are solid white dress shirts. Thank you for your understanding and your help to make Angelica stand out on her wedding day.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you have specific concerns or allergies, please answer the question provided on the RSVP. Please don't hesitate to email us at AngelicaandCarlosCovarrubias@gmail.com and we will confer with our caterer.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes. We recommend using rideshare apps for transportation if you are planning on drinking. Otherwise please know who your designated driver is ahead of time. We also ask our guests to remember that this is a beautiful day only possible through our loving God Jehovah, so please be mindful to drink in moderation.

Question

Is there a wedding hashtag?

Answer

Yes! Feel free to use this # to help share your night with us and others #OnCloudCovarrubias
