11.15.2017 It all started in Chicago with Plenty of Fish (POF), a dating app in November of 2017. Alyssa and Aaron got to know each other through text and Snapchat for about a week before they went on their first date. Aaron and Alyssa met at Fireside Restaurant in Edgewater. They had great food, drinks, dessert and most importantly- GREAT CONVERSATION. Aaron was super attentive and respectful, and Alyssa was captivating and sweet. There was such a cozy and romantic ambiance that was unforgettable. They were already on their second date a couple days later and have since been inseparable <3

4.19.2020 In the backyard of their apartment. In the middle of a pandemic. It all started when Aaron offered to take the lead on their next at home date night. They had been in quarantine for about a month and were in need of romantic date night to switch things up. Aaron suggested they dress up for dinner like people do in movies (it seemed like the best way to get Alyssa to dress up without being obvious). Aaron mentioned that he would order from Fireside restaurant where they had their first date. He planned everything down to 15-minute intervals; he planned out when he would leave, when he would get the food, when he would get to the store for dessert and when he would be home so they could start with appetizers. He also decorated the deck and had Alyssa wait in the bedroom until it was all set for her to see. Everything was so pretty and the food was delicious as always! During dinner Alyssa even asked, "Are you going to propose?" having zerooooo idea that was already his plan. Aaron brushed it off like "no, why would I do that?". Alyssa then asked, "What if I do ask the day you plan to propose?" and Aaron responded "Well I guess I will have to change my plan." They both laughed and Alyssa for sure thought there was no way he would be proposing that night. After dinner Aaron blindfolded Alyssa for what I thought was a surprise dessert. He walked her outside and when he took off the blindfold Alyssa sees her parents, sister and her family. Then she turns to look at Aaron and spots Kylie standing nearby. Aaron then proceeded to get down on one knee and asked Alyssa to marry him! It was truly the most perfect proposal!
