And the award for best hair goes to…Fuss! Katherine and I met at Berry our Freshman year and I had the honor of living in Louise Cottage with her the last two years of college. Katherine is an instantly calming presence while simultaneously having the driest sense of humor. Ask Fuss about the time she was race support for my mom during the Berry Half Marathon.

Em and I met in Sunday School class when we were 8 years old, she was sporting a classic *mushroom* haircut and we were bound to be best friends for life. The Lady. Kate and I met at the end of Freshman year at Berry. Our friendship skyrocketed when she brought me some D-hall pancakes when I was sick at the beginning of Sophomore year. From Club Lib and many PCB trips, to Pres Adams, Union Pub and beyond we’ve been through it all together. Ask Kate about our 4pm Wendy’s tradition in college.

Syd and I met our Freshman year at Berry and had a blast pranking each other as we lived in Louise Cottage together our last two years. We both shared unique diets then, and share equally unique and much healthier diets now. Syd is incredibly thoughtful and so intentional. Fiercely loyal, a Sancerre connoisseur and The Giver of all photos, so thankful that KP is the Hermoine to my Hagrid! Our meet cute happened in the Berry College Athletic Training department thanks to a vintage University of Tennessee coffee tumbler. Meggo! My first friend in DC, we met at work at Special Olympics in 2015. She invited me to a Nationals baseball game a couple weeks after I started and we truly never looked back! Ethan has been my best friend since our moms arranged a carpool when I was 8. He has always been the first person I invite to a Kane family dinner! After seeing this man protect ice cream at our first job, there is no one I would rather have as my best man. Ask Ethan about our synchronized swimming performances!

Alex and I became close friends in middle school. We went to different high schools. Alex went to college in California and I went to North Carolina. We still live on opposite sides of the US. Todd was my first friend when I moved to Wilmington. Luckily for me, Todd had the same interests. He’s always a friend I can count on to go to the beach or see some stand-up comedy with any day! I have known Lee since we were kids. He was a legend at our local community pool, and he wasn’t even on the swim team! We became close after college and have stayed close to even as we moved further from each other across the continent. Ask Lee about our Friday drives on the mall after work!

Jon and I became instant friends at ECU from the first day, literally. Even recently we pieced together that we were even on the same tour before we even applied. It makes sense to me. There isn’t a single thing about college that, thankfully, also reminds me of JonBart! It was destiny! Fate? Magic? YES! Ask Jon about our first surf trip together.

When we were kids, Brian and I disliked each other tremendously. Freshman year of High School Brian and I were the only two males in our lunch period. Luckily for us, all the cute popular girls were also in our lunch. We sat with them until Brian made me laugh so hard I spit my water all over several of them.
