"Every time I thought of the story, it seemed to me to become more and more charming, for it is with stories as it is with many people: they become better as they grow older. " That's how it is with this story; it seems to get better and better every time we tell it. There once lived a girl named Anna who was invited to visit a new church with her sweet friend, Lynn. She agreed to go on one condition: she wasn't going to meet a boy there. It turns out that some handsome boy with really long hair named Micaiah opened the door for her; she smiled thankfully and walked in, not wavering from her vow with her friend. After leaving the service that Sunday, she felt in her heart that she had found her tribe, her people. Now this long haired boy had also had a talk with God, and said that he was ready for someone to love him, but if he didn't meet her at Chipotle, a coffee shop, or church, he probably wasn't going to meet her at all. Not only did he need her to show up in his life, she also had to identify with his community, his people, and his wild and free spirit. He never opens the door at church because he's usually busy on the worship team, but this one day he had a minute and happened to be walking towards the door as a beautiful blonde girl was on her way inside. Not thinking anything of it, he politely opened the door for her. God has a sense of humor because she also told the Lord a few days before, that she would "walk through any door He opened for her". It didn't take long for them to realize that this was more than just a coincidence! After an awkward-lingering "high-five" introduction, tons of Chipotle, lots of coffee, countless hours of worship, and many hours of driving back and forth, it finally clicked: they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together.
