As told by Coy..... We met online with one of those dating sites. After talking a few times on the site we finally talked on the phone. Side note I was rejected twice for a meet & greet. Finally got her phone number & we started talking & talking. We planned on meeting Saturday morning for breakfast but wound up talking til 4 o’clock in the morning. I felt such a connection to her right off the bat. Since it was late we decided to push the breakfast back a little later. Now I would like to say that I don’t think either of us planned on what happened next. We ended up spending the next 8 or so hours talking & found out that our 2 oldest boys knew each other. After that we went to a bar around the corner, had a few drinks, more talking & a kiss good night. I would say that by far was the best first date I had ever been on. When we parted ways I knew that there was something special & it would turn out to be the best decision to send a wink on that dating site. As told by Julie...... I had decided to take a break from dating for a while & went into my account to put it on hold. However, when I logged in I saw this handsome man. After taking a quick look at his profile, I saw that we had some things in common. Then I noticed that he had sent me a “wink”. We began chit-chatting & had really great banter back & forth. Now I was torn about whether to put my dating plans on hold, there was something about this guy that really grabbed my attention. He asked me out & still unsure I said “No”. We talked a bit more & he asked me again, again I said “No”. But after that second No, I found myself really wishing I had said Yes. So when he asked if I wanted to just meet for breakfast, I said “Yes”. He called me that night after baseball, just before 10 pm & the next thing I knew it was 4 o’clock in the morning. We met for breakfast & wound up spending the whole day getting to know each other. Just goes to show great things happen when you least expect it.
