It all began on April 22, 2023, at Nashville North, a lively country bar where Meirabelle loved to go swing dancing with her friends. That night, Nathan walked in for the first time, looking for something new—and little did he know, he'd find more than just a good time. Nathan and Meirabelle both decided to join the swing dance lesson, and by a twist of fate, they were paired as dance partners. From the very first step, there was an undeniable spark. Nathan asked Meirabelle to dance several more times that night, and each time, it felt like they were in perfect sync. They spent hours chatting, laughing, and enjoying each other's company. Though they didn’t exchange numbers that night, they both felt something special. On April 29, 2023, Nathan gathered the courage to ask for Meirabelle’s number after another long and heartfelt conversation. This simple act marked the beginning of something extraordinary, and they couldn’t help but feel that God had a hand in bringing them together. Their first official date—and their first kiss—came on May 24, 2023. It was a night filled with excitement, discovery, and a shared sense of peace that they were exactly where they were meant to be. From that moment, they were inseparable. By June 18, 2023, they made their relationship official, and with every step forward, they felt God's blessings guiding them closer. On July 5, 2024, Nathan surprised Meirabelle with an adventure to Francis Peak, in the mountains overlooking Salt Lake Valley, Utah while they were visiting family. After driving most of the way, they hiked the final half mile to a breathtaking overlook. Surrounded by the beauty of creation, Nathan asked Meirabelle to be his forever. In that moment, both knew that the Lord had brought them together for a reason. Of course, she said yes, and together, they began to plan their future with grateful hearts. Now, on May 24, 2025—exactly two years after their first official date—they’ll be married, and as they begin a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished memories, they give thanks to the Lord for the beautiful gift of each other. Their journey started with a chance dance, but it’s the Lord’s guiding hand that has led them to this moment and will continue to lead them in their lives together.
