Welcome to our Happily Ever After

This story has been decades in the making.... Monique & I met during the Christmas holidays in 1986 and from the very beginning it was obvious that our relationship would be anything but ordinary. From the first time I saw her, I knew that she would be mine and I had no problem letting that be known. But life is a funny thing... It has a way of giving you what you want if you want it bad enough, but not until you're ready for it. Such was the case with us. Monique went on and followed a path that led to being a strong confident woman and I left for the military. We both lived our lives having no clue of the twist life had in store for us. After 30+ years we were brought back into each others lives. From the night of November 22, 2014, we became inseparable & over time we became one person. Each wanting nothing but the best for the other. Always having each others back, always backing the others play. Someone once said "You only live once". I believe that's not true. I'm working on my 3rd life and stepping into my 4th with the greatest woman I've known. Like I said, "Life is funny". We first thought we wanted a boyfriend or girlfriend.... Then, we really just needed a friend.... but in in the end I ended up with a mate for life & THE BEST FRIEND I could ever ask for. Kyle
