FAQs

If you have any other questions other than what we’ve listed here, please reach out to either one of us! (Probably Valeria might be best)
Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids- as long as they don't start crying in the middle of the ceremony :-)

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal/ Semi Formal attire is appropriate. We want you to feel comfortable and be able to dance all night with us! With that being said, we encourage ladies to wear block heels as the cocktail hour will be held on the beach. We also recommend ladies bring a shawl as it might get breezy at night!!

Question

What do I need to travel to Cancun?

Answer

A valid passport with more than 6 months of validity. Please check your passport and make sure it is not expired/ expiring soon- don't wait until last minute as it can take 8 to 11 weeks to get your passport renewed! We would also encourage everyone to bring a mask just in case they require it in any restaurant or location.

Question

Do I need to show a negative COVID test or vaccine card to enter Mexico?

Answer

No, a negative COVID-19 test is NOT required for entry. You do not need to show proof of vaccination either.

Question

Do I need to show a negative COVID test to return to the US?

Answer

No, as of June 12, 2022, the CDC no longer requires air passengers traveling from a foreign country to the US to show a negative COVID-19 viral test.

Question

How do I book a room at the Royalton Riviera Resort?

Answer

Copy and Paste this link: https://www.destinationweddings.com/Weddings/Guests/AttendaWedding.aspx Under 'Find a Wedding': Wedding Couple's last name- write either Aliaga OR Ferrante Wedding Passcode: Cancun2022 Create your profile and follow the instructions on the website to book your room. Call or text Valeria with any questions or concerns :-) 813.990.7319

Question

When is the final room payment due?

Answer

You must pay your room in full BEFORE September 15, 2022. If possible aim to have your room paid off by September 1st. If not paid by 9/15, your deposit will be lost, room will be removed from the room block, and bride and groom will still be held financially responsible for holding room. For any questions about this, please call Valeria at 813.990.7319

Question

If I choose to stay somewhere other than the Royalton Resort can I still attend the wedding festivities prior to the wedding?

Answer

The Royalton has a “Day Pass” of approximately $120 (last time I asked) for those who are not staying there but would like to enjoy the resorts amenities. However, it is not guaranteed that they will provide a Day Pass as it is based on the capacity of the resort. If the Resort is busy/full, they won’t let anyone else in. Also keep in mind, if you stay someplace else, you will need transportation back and forth to the airport and wedding venue. Our travel agent advised us that it would be cheaper for guests to stay at the Royalton however it is entirely up to you! :)
