Our first date was on a bright Sunday morning chatting over a warm cup of coffee. At the time I was unaware, but Steven wasn't a fan of coffee. Despite our differences in morning rituals we quickly found many things interesting about each other and let the hour slip passed us. It was from that moment forward we spoke every day and became pretty inseparable. Steven will tell you he had to work a little harder to win the girl. I'm just stubborn I suppose. Regardless of the efforts, here we are today. Madly in love and both avid coffee drinkers. <3
As fast as our love grew, the speed at which the proposal came was of no surprise to family and friends. It was an inevitable event. The timing of it all was not planned, and even though I knew Steven was going to "pop the question", he did in fact make my heart skip a beat and surprised me. He took me back to our Happy Place. The buid site of our future home. With what I thought was a photo opportunity for us in our soon to be living room, Mia started recording the special moment. Like a true gentleman, Steven got down on one knee and gave a speech any girl would wish for.
