William was born in Woodbridge, VA but eventually called Fremont, NC home. Spent most of his teenage years hanging out with friends and trying not to get in trouble. Received an associate's degree in business admin and eventually moved further west, ending up in Apex, NC. William loves martial arts, fitness, music, cars, video games, and trying to find ways to better himself. William has a great love for his family and is passionate about his work. He has two children from a previous marriage, Kit(14) and Zack(13).

Amber was born in Fairfax, Virginia, on an army base where both of her parents were stationed. She spent most of her life growing up in the Apex, Cary, and Raleigh area. She attended NC State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Amber loves flowers, spending time with family, and traveling to places that have a deep cultural and architectural beauty. Anyone who knows Amber will say how obsessed she is with alpacas, and how she hopes to one day own her own farm. Amber has two kids from a previous marriage, Adalynn (10), and Greyson (7). They are very kind, loving, and happy to have two new brothers.

Buddy and Amber first met at a Cisco orientation, having just landed a job with a company they were both excited about. Amber introduced herself to the group first, noting her passion for working on BMWs and later Buddy introduced himself as a metal band guitarist. After a couple days, Buddy stopped Amber in the hallway leading back to the conference room to ask her about her car knowledge. "So you like cars?" he said. Amber, annoyed because she thought it was just another guy trying to get to know her, responded to his question anyway. They formed a casual work friendship over cars, music and anime. Over the next several months, the relationship grew stronger as personal hardships in their lives brought them to lean on each other for support. By January 2019, they were already best friends and decided to call it as officially dating. 2019 brought on lots of changes as Amber and her kids moved into a new home, eventually offering space for Buddy and the two new young men in her life to move in as well. Getting adjusted took some time, but everyone seemed to enjoy each other's company, and they adopted their dog Nikki. When COVID hit in early 2020, it was a real test of the strength of their relationship. Managing working from home, four kids without school or daycare, and a new dog made the 1100 square foot house feel very small. Amber and Buddy proved to each other they could work through all problems, and both continued to grow and better themselves as people to manage the difficulty 2020 (and 2021) brought into their home. Early 2022 things really turned around for them, both Amber and Buddy received new promotions which offered them the ability to find a home big enough for all the kids to have their own rooms, as well as spaces they could utilize as offices. This move was a huge moment in their relationship and solidified the commitment they had to each other to work together to create a beautiful life for their kids and themselves. After planning many failed attempts at a proposal due to weather or forgetting to bring the ring with him, Buddy finally proposed at home on November 13, 2022. Each day they continue to strive to be better for each other, for their kids, and as humans in general. Together, they have learned to trust again, to be supportive and understanding, and most importantly to wholeheartedly love and feel loved in return. They have made many new friends and are beyond excited to spend the rest of their lives together.
